Parent Support Group

Join PSG@JPJC to enrich your child's college experience through events, workshops, and activities that build community between parents, students, and the college.

The PSG@JPJC is a group of parents who are passionate about providing support to enrich the learning experience for their children. PSG seeks to foster relationships and communication between parents, students and the college. PSG contributes to JPJC programmes with the aim to promote the well-being of students.

Objectives of PSG@JPJC

Initiate opportunities for meaningful collaboration with JPJC.
Organise college programmes that promote students’ learning and development, well-being.
Plan activities that support parent-child bonding.
Share expertise and experiences with fellow parents.

Areas of Contributions

Participation and involvement in college events (such as Open House, Parents Engagement Session, PSG Connect, Road Run, Foodie Nights and J2 Farewell Assembly)
Organise workshops, learning journeys and provide work attachment opportunities
Resource personnel for fundraising

Year 2022

JPJC Partnership Committee hosted PSG Connect on 7 May. The primary objectives of this session was to bond with new parents, and to inform them about Parent Support Group activities and how they could be actively involved.

PSG EXCO collated well-wishes from parents for the graduating Class of 2022, encouraging them for their upcoming A-Level examination. Parents also sent their blessings for the J1s who will be sitting for their Mother Tongue and Project Work examinations.
