JP Innovation Festival
Discover how JPJC students showcased innovation, creativity, and community service at the inaugural JP Innovation Festival 2026.
The inaugural JP Innovation Festival 2026, held on 15 April 2026, marked a significant milestone in bringing together innovation, service, and student agency on a single dynamic platform. Organised collaboratively by PW, STEAM, NESL, ECG, and Outreach, the Festival was made possible through the collective efforts and strong support of the entire school community. We were delighted to welcome 287 secondary school students from our feeder schools, alongside 90 parents who joined us to experience the vibrant learning environment firsthand.
The Festival served as a powerful showcase of student learning, creativity, and purpose. Our J2 students took center stage in sharing their journeys through Project Work, offering valuable insights into problem identification, ideation, and the development of innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Through their student-led VIA initiatives, they demonstrated a strong commitment to serving the community, while their participation in STEAM programmes reflected curiosity, innovation, and a passion for lifelong learning. These authentic experiences also strengthened key 21st-century competencies such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and leadership.
For our J1 students and visiting secondary school students, the Festival provided meaningful opportunities to learn directly from their seniors and explore how ideas can be transformed into impactful action. Interactions with community partners and external organisations broadened their understanding of social causes and inspired deeper interest in volunteering, service, and community engagement.
More than just an event, the JP Innovation Festival embodies the spirit of innovation, empathy, and purposeful learning. It is a celebration of student voice and agency, empowering young people to become confident changemakers who can create meaningful impact within their communities and beyond.
